02 / POLAND WEEK

Poland Week, a private mission and delegation care are different choices

Poland Week is a scheduled business event. A private mission is built around one company's objectives. Delegation care is an optional logistics and protocol package.

  • Event admission does not automatically include a private mission
  • A private mission does not automatically include event admission
  • The services are combined only when the client selects both

03 / PRIVATE MISSIONS

How a private DRC business mission is prepared

The programme starts with a defined commercial objective—not a generic itinerary. Meetings and visits are selected around the company, sector and decision required.

  • Company and product qualification before travel
  • Tailored B2B, institutional and site meetings
  • Visa coordination, transport, security, interpretation and follow-up

Frequently asked questions

What is AfrykaPolska?

AfrykaPolska is a Poland–Africa business platform for institutional connections, membership, economic missions, Poland Week and public information about Poland–DRC cooperation. Commercial services are delivered by Africa Smart Investments.

Is Poland Week the same as a private business mission?

No. Poland Week is a scheduled public business event. A private business mission is a separately designed and priced market-entry programme. Neither service automatically includes the other.

Does AfrykaPolska issue DRC visas?

No. Visas are issued only by the competent DRC authorities. For booked delegations, the team can coordinate document preparation and the visa process directly with the Embassy, but approval remains with the authorities.

Does an introduction guarantee a contract or government decision?

No. AfrykaPolska facilitates credible introductions and preparation. Commercial agreements, procurement awards and government decisions remain the responsibility of the relevant independent parties and authorities.

In which African countries does Africa Smart Investments operate?

Africa Smart Investments works primarily across Central and East Africa. Its partner network includes the DRC, Republic of the Congo, Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi. The available support depends on the country, sector and project and is confirmed before an engagement begins.

Can ASI help companies buy and import products from Africa?

Yes. ASI can support regional sourcing from the DRC and neighbouring African markets by identifying suppliers, checking documentation and capacity, arranging samples and quality controls, supporting commercial terms and coordinating export and logistics. Every opportunity remains subject to independent verification and a written scope.

What products can be sourced from African markets?

Depending on verified availability and legal requirements, opportunities may include coffee, cocoa, tea, tropical fruit, spices, agricultural ingredients, processed foods, textiles, manufactured goods, construction materials and responsibly sourced raw materials. Product origin, quality, certifications and export eligibility must be confirmed for each transaction.

How should an African supplier be verified?

Verification should include company registration, beneficial ownership, licences and certificates, references, production capacity, a site or warehouse check, samples, quality inspection, previous shipment evidence and secure payment terms. A listing or introduction is not a guarantee of performance.

Who should attend Poland Week?

Polish and Congolese companies, manufacturers, exporters, investors, institutions and sector partners seeking structured visibility, meetings and cooperation during the published event programme.

What can delegation care include?

When selected and quoted, it may include airport protocol, hotel selected by the organiser, local transport, security coordination, meals, interpretation, connectivity and networking outside the main event programme.

How is a private mission priced?

It is priced after the destination, duration, meeting programme, delegation size, transport, security and specialist requirements are confirmed. The client receives the proposed scope and conditions before committing.

Can AfrykaPolska help after the visit?

Yes. Follow-up can include meeting records, partner communication and coordination of the next commercial steps. Technical feasibility and project delivery are separately scoped through Africa Smart Investments.
