How we process your data

• Your name, company, email address, telephone number and sector.
• Information included in a membership, event, mission, investment or other business enquiry.
• Basic technical logs required for security, reliable delivery and error diagnosis.

• To answer your enquiry and take requested steps before a possible contract — GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
• To secure the website, prevent misuse and document business correspondence — our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f).
• To meet accounting, tax and other legal duties — Article 6(1)(c).
• Marketing or newsletter messages are sent only where separate valid consent or another lawful basis applies. Marketing consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Data is available only to authorised ASI personnel and service providers needed to operate the platform and answer enquiries, including hosting, Lovable, transactional email provider Resend, IT support and professional advisers. Google Analytics receives website usage data only after analytics consent. If a requested service requires work in the DRC, necessary information may be shared with Africa Smart Investment DRC S.A.S. or a verified local partner.

• Some technology providers, including Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another GDPR safeguard.
• We do not sell personal data.

Ordinary enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Contract, invoice, dispute or legally required records may be retained for the applicable statutory period. Data is then deleted or anonymised.

• Access, correction and deletion.
• Restriction and, where applicable, portability.
• Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdrawal of consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
• A complaint to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO): uodo.gov.pl.

Providing data is voluntary, but required fields are necessary for us to identify and answer your request. We do not use website enquiries for automated decision-making or profiling.

Necessary local storage remembers your language and cookie choice. With your consent under GDPR Article 6(1)(a), the platform uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ZX11MBKGG3) to measure visits, pages and interactions so we can improve the service. The Google tag and analytics cookies do not load until you select “Accept analytics”.

• You may reject analytics or withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal prevents future analytics loading and removes first-party Google Analytics cookies where technically possible.
• Google may process technical identifiers and usage information under its privacy terms and applicable international-transfer safeguards. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad personalisation remain disabled.
• You may also clear or block storage through your browser settings; this may reset language and cookie preferences.

Videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. A connection to YouTube/Google is made when you choose to play content; their privacy terms may then apply. WhatsApp and other external services are governed by their providers' policies.
